* Served as acting director for the SIP proxy team who developed
a strong H.323 to SIP proxy for interaction between our Java
based iPBX and Cisco h.323 equipment
* Systems integration work involving Cisco VoIP equipment
( AS5300s, 26/36xx, 3810 etc ), internal VoIP MGCP and H.323
equipment as well as our own hosted iPBX solution written
in Java running on the Sun Netra t1 platform.
* Designed OSPF network for providing product services to end
customers.
* Built an automation server and suite of clustering tools
for system failover, reconstruction, and reliability. Software
currently used for product. Suite manages automated backup and
restore using PKI infrastructure, as well as the ability to
recreate systems capable of recreating other systems within the
cluster. Rewrote Sun's Solaris installation software to be
better suited for automation and restoration.

servers for installation automation of many server configs.
* Implemented VoIP solution for CalISO using Cisco H.323
gatekeepers and edge devices with FXO/FXS ports.
* Network protocol design including BGP, OSPF, RIPv2, ATM 1483,
LANe, and others.
* Designed a high speed EBGP failover mechanism
for all power generation sites connecting to the Wepex network.
* Designed and supported the existing Internet firewalls for the
network.
* Was responsible for integrity assurance of the network and
modeling of it using Netsys.
* Wrote a web based tool in Perl to generate Cisco router
configurations for multiple customers to be used in
conjunction with IP helper to automate new site installations.
* Supported the NASDAQ network as well as the the California ISO
Power Deregulation Network, and NCO Financials.

* With another key team member, we developed a firewall known
inside of MCI as the BDHSV based upon the IPF framework for
network management connectivity between client networks such
as Reuters, USPS, JP Morgan, NCO, and others.
* Constructed another firewall for the Cal ISO project known
internally as the Golden Firewall based upon heavily customized
IPF code, pieces of the TIS Firewall Toolkit, and the Gauntlet
proxy set. Used IPF for packet absorption and layer 7 hand-off
for the Gauntlet/Toolkit proxies.
